Pizza La Nova at 1348 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo, California.

So pleasantly surprised by this teeny, strip-mall pizza joint. The pizza was delicious, with a really nice sauce and thin, crisp (but not crunchy) crust. And the service was exceptional. The guy who took our order voluntarily gave us a discount because he could see from her sweatshirt that my daughter went to a local school. Then the owner saw us looking at the NYC map and went out of his way to give us a little geography lesson (you can tell by his accent he's from there). So friendly, so yummy. They earned my business.
